The Super Summer Reading Program

Look out for our Super Summer Reading Program every December/January school holidays. It's a cool way to discover the magic of reading AND you get a chance to win prizes! It's fun and it's free! Read the information below to find out more about this great program.

About the Program

From early December you may collect a reading kit from the Ipswich Library, Redbank Plains Library, Redbank Plaza Library or from the Mobile Library.
Each kit contains reading lists, fun activity sheets, book review forms, jokes and interesting fact sheets.

Condition of Entry

Be a member of the Ipswich Library and Information Service.

How it Works

  1. Read 6 books over the 6-week school holiday period (Dec. to mid Jan. ).
  2. Write a book review for each of these books.
  3. There are three prize draws during the program and a major prize draw at the end of the program (the dates for each year will be advertised in the kit). Submit 3 of your book reviews before each draw to get a chance to win a prize in that draw. Reviews submitted after the draw date will go into the following draw. No reviews will be accepted after the final given date.
  4. Winners will be contacted by phone.
  5. Anyone who completes the entire program (submits 6 reviews by the final given date) will be eligible for entry into the major prize draw. The major prize presentation will be held at the end-of-program party in February.
