New NYOR Library CardAttention all “Budding Readers”! If you’ve been thinking of joining the Library, now is the time!

Sign up to become a Library member between 1 May – 31 August 2012, and be in the draw to win a prize! You’ll also receive a special commemorative National Year of Reading Library Card.

Also, each new Library member who joins between 1 May – 31 August will receive three flower petals where they will write their favourite book, favourite author & why they love to read. Complete all 3 petals, return them for display in the Library, and you’ll go in the draw for one prize winner per branch.orange NYOR flower

The winners will be invited to attend the Garden to Gourmet: A Raw Food Awakening event on Saturday 8 September 2012, where Mayor Pisasale will present them with their prizes.

Here are the winners of our Budding Readers Competition for May’s New Members. All new members who joined during the month of May were automatically entered into a weekly lucky draw to win a National Year of Reading prize pack.
